Secondly, after an article in our local newspaper, at least one Angus & Robertson store has received orders for about half-a-dozen copies; lamentably, they’re waiting until they get a few more before ordering the books from Zeus. Oh well, the lack should create demand, if I can raise awareness of the book, and a couple of good reviews should do that.

Now I’m working on the marketing, contacting bookstores and whatnot to arrange getting it into stock.

Of all the stages of getting a book from mind to market, I think this is the one I’ll enjoy the most.

Bits and pieces of the information have been taken straight from the book. I used MS Word’s indexing function – quite handy if the index is only simple – and some of the indexed words have sneaked onto the page.

You can still buy it – although I’ve not seen the proofs from the first print run, so I’d counsel waiting just in case the occurences of XE “serotonin” and the like are a glitch the publishers and printers have to sort out.
